STUDIOPC, INC. / FLYWEIGHT

TERMS OF
SERVICE.

The rules for using our website and taking part in the build.

Effective October 26, 2026

Flyweight is a prototype. Play respectfully, protect your access details, and follow your headset’s safety guidance. Our Privacy policy explains how the game uses player information.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are between you and StudioPC, Inc. (“StudioPC,” “we,” “us”). They cover the StudioPC website, our in-development game Flyweight (also listed in Meta’s developer dashboard as StudioPC VR Prototype), and connected playtest services we provide (together, the “Services”).

Please read these Terms before using the Services. By expressly accepting these Terms, or using a Service after being given clear notice that doing so means you agree to them, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use that Service. Simply viewing this page does not record your acceptance or enroll you in a playtest.

Additional terms may apply to a particular test or product when we provide them to you before you participate. These Terms do not grant access to a test, account, private room or game build by themselves.

2. Eligibility and access

You must meet the age and eligibility requirements of applicable law, your platform and device, and the particular playtest invitation. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and permit your participation. Parental permission does not override a higher minimum age or other eligibility requirement.

Use only accounts, builds and access credentials you are authorized to use. Keep passwords, private-room credentials and other access details secure. Do not sell, transfer or share access unless StudioPC permits it. Contact us if you believe your access has been compromised.

You are responsible for having compatible equipment, an internet connection and any required platform account, and for charges from your own providers. Follow the terms of the platforms and services you use to access the game.

3. Prototype and availability

Flyweight is still in development. Test builds may contain errors, lose progress or settings, require updates, or be incompatible with other builds. Features, visuals, supported hardware and development plans may change. A preview, screenshot or development target is not a promise of a release date or final feature.

We may change, pause or end a test, limit participation, reset test data or make a build unavailable for development, maintenance, security or operational reasons. We will provide notice when reasonably practical and when required by law. Participation does not guarantee continuing access, a finished game or a free copy of a future product.

The website does not currently offer a checkout. These Terms do not authorize a charge or subscription. If we offer a paid product or service, its price, payment terms and applicable cancellation or refund information will be provided before you purchase. Any mandatory consumer rights and applicable platform purchase rules remain in effect.

4. Fair play and acceptable use

Use the Services lawfully and treat other people with respect. You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against others, or share another person’s private information without authorization.
  • Cheat, use unauthorized tools to gain an unfair advantage, or deliberately exploit a bug to disrupt other players.
  • Bypass access controls or restrictions, access another person’s account or private room without permission, or interfere with servers and networks.
  • Distribute malware, spam the Services, or knowingly submit false reports.
  • Upload or share unlawful material or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

Report bugs, abuse and security concerns to the contact addresses below. Describe the problem without exposing passwords, access tokens or other people’s private information. These rules do not prohibit honest criticism, reviews or good-faith reports of problems.

5. Playing safely in VR

Read and follow the health, safety, age and setup instructions for your headset and controllers. Clear a suitable play area, use the available boundary features, remain aware of other people and obstacles, and take regular breaks. For Meta devices, consult the Meta Quest Safety Center.

Stop playing if you experience discomfort, dizziness, nausea or other unusual symptoms. Follow your device’s guidance about recovery and seeking medical advice. A prototype may include unexpected movement, flashing effects or performance problems. These Terms do not waive rights relating to injury or product safety that the law protects.

6. Content, game access and feedback

StudioPC and its licensors retain their rights in the Services, including software, artwork, audio, logos and other materials. Subject to these Terms and any applicable platform license, we give authorized participants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the game for its intended playtest purposes while access remains available. The game is licensed, not sold.

Do not sell or redistribute builds, extract and distribute game assets, or use StudioPC branding in a way that implies our endorsement without permission. Do not reverse engineer or modify the Services except where we authorize it or applicable law permits it. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

You keep ownership of your original feedback and material you send us. By voluntarily submitting a suggestion or bug report, you permit us to use that feedback to operate and improve the Services without an obligation to pay you or implement it. This does not transfer ownership of your reviews, grant rights in unrelated work, or permit uses of personal information beyond the applicable privacy policy and law.

When recording or sharing gameplay, respect other people’s privacy and obtain any permissions required by law. A separately agreed confidentiality obligation for a specific test still applies. These Terms alone do not make your experience or honest reviews confidential.

7. Privacy and other services

Our Privacy policy describes information used by the game and connected playtests, including information visible to other players, service providers, retention and how to request access, correction or deletion. It also explains that available account and profile features vary by build.

Meta, Discord and other third-party platforms operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Links to those services do not mean StudioPC controls their availability, content or practices. These Terms do not authorize StudioPC to access your separate accounts or require you to give us your password.

8. Ending access

You may stop using the Services at any time. For help with player information or deletion, use the contact options in our Privacy policy.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, protect players or systems, comply with law, or end a test. When practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to address it. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent safety, security or legal concerns. You may contact us to request review of an access decision.

Ending access does not remove rights or obligations that already arose. Provisions about ownership, permitted feedback use, responsibility and disputes continue to the extent relevant. Retention and deletion of personal information remain governed by the Privacy policy and applicable law.

9. Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the prototype and other Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that every issue will be corrected. To that same extent, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, StudioPC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or business opportunities arising from use of the Services. This does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms takes away consumer guarantees, statutory remedies or other rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you. Where a disclaimer or limitation is not permitted, it does not apply to you.

If there is a dispute, you may contact us to try to resolve it informally. Doing so is optional and does not prevent you from using a court or regulator with jurisdiction or exercising any legal remedy. Applicable law determines your rights and the courts available to you.

10. Changes and other agreements

We will post revised Terms here and update the effective date. For material changes affecting an ongoing Service, we will give reasonable notice through that Service or another appropriate channel and seek agreement where required. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that have already arisen. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the affected Service.

A separate agreement you have with StudioPC controls its specific subject matter where it conflicts with these Terms. Participation or feedback alone does not create employment, a contractor relationship, equity ownership or an investment agreement.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
