About this policy
StudioPC, Inc. develops Flyweight, an in-development multiplayer VR game listed in Meta's developer dashboard as StudioPC VR Prototype. This policy covers the game and its connected playtest services.
Features differ between test builds. Meta account-name and profile-photo features are being integrated; they are not available in every current build. The descriptions below apply when the corresponding feature is enabled and you use it.
Information the game uses
Account names and profile photos
When Meta account features are enabled, the game uses your app-specific Meta user ID, Horizon username and profile photo to identify your account and display your name and photo in the lobby. Your username is also used for teammate labels during multiplayer matches.
Movement and multiplayer
The game processes headset and controller tracking and player input to display movement and let you interact with the world. Multiplayer exchanges information needed to run a match, including player names, avatar and hand movement, teams, equipment and gameplay state.
The private-room service uses a generated guest identity and an access credential to connect you to rooms. It handles room names, ownership and session reservations. Network services receive connection information, such as an IP address, to handle requests and limit abuse.
Preferences and playtest reports
Preferences such as cosmetic selections are saved on your device. Private-room access can also be remembered on that device. Development tools can record performance, hardware and in-game view-position information to local diagnostic files when recording is enabled.
If you contact StudioPC or provide a playtest report, we receive the contact information, message and files you choose to send.
Why the information is used
We use this information to operate and support the game: show your identity, connect players, run multiplayer interactions, remember preferences, protect access to private rooms and investigate technical problems. Meta profile access is used for the in-game identity features described above.
How long information stays
We keep information for the purposes described in this policy, for as long as it is needed for those purposes, subject to applicable deletion requirements and legal obligations. The period depends on the feature, the type of record, and whether it is needed to resolve a support request or technical problem.
Local preferences and remembered guest access can remain on your device between sessions. Temporary access and room-service records have expiry periods, and scheduled cleanup may follow expiry rather than happen immediately. Diagnostic files and support messages can remain after a match ends.
You can contact us below to ask about information associated with your playtest account, request its deletion, or get help clearing local game data.
Your choices and requests
To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your player information, email jack@studiopc.io or cannon@studiopc.io with the subject “Flyweight privacy request.” Describe what you need and include the in-game username or guest identity involved if you know it.
Do not send a password, access token or identity document. We may need limited additional information to confirm which records belong to you. A username alone may not establish ownership.
We review requests and arrange correction or deletion of information under our control, including with our hosting provider where necessary, in accordance with applicable law and Meta's data-use requirements. If a legal obligation limits what we can remove or disclose, we will explain the limitation when permitted. A request to StudioPC does not delete your separate Meta account.
